When I was in high school, I was always busy, everyone was. My school required us to be involved in a co-curricular which we did at least 4 times a week. I would go to school from 8am until 4pm, and then have my co-curricular until 5:30, sometimes later. Going into my first year of university, I decided not to get involved in anything and just focus on my school work. I'm going to be honest, it was pretty boring. It was nice for awhile, having so much free time. When I transferred schools this fall one of my goals was to get involved more. It does get a little crazy sometimes (they all meet on Sundays), but I'm really glad I stepped out of my comfort zone this year. Here are some ways to get involved:
I know how hard it is to get involved in University, especially if you're an introvert. You don't need to do everything on this list, I don't even do everything on this list. Just try something if you think you might like it at all. You'll have a lot more fun if you do.
