Between school and extra-curriculars, it can be difficult to keep track of what you have coming up and what you need to do before then. Recently I've started making study plans for a few weeks at a time rather than just the upcoming week. Step 1: List Everything Make a list of all assignments, midterms, events, etc. that you have coming up and write down the dates. Step 2: Split it into weeks After you have an idea of what you have to do, divide them into weeks. For example; March 11-17
Step 3: Subtasks Make a list of things you need to do for that task. This could be the chapters you need to study for a midterm, or meetings you need to have before a group project is due. Step 4: Back track When do you need to start working on this? If you have a midterm in two weeks, start adding in study time for the weeks before it. This will act as your to-do list for the week. Step 5: Stay on top of it There's no point in making a study plan if you forget about it and end up leaving everything to the last minute. Make sure you go back and look at it each week to see what you need to do. I hope everyone is surviving the semester and that this helps! When do your exams start? Let me know in the comments.
